Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech Foundation
Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech Centres have provided quality audiology and speech language pathology services to Nova Scotians for over 35 years. Through the treatment of communication disorders, which affect more than 10% of the province’s population, the Centres are continuing to improve the quality of life for thousands of Nova Scotians.

In 1999 the Centres’ Board of Directors took an empowering step that would enable them to further develop programming and purchase capital equipment; the formation of a charitable foundation in support of the Centres’ activities.

In the spring of 2002 the Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech Foundation will launch a $4.1 million dollar campaign. This campaign will support the Centres’ new programs as well as enhance existing ones. Funds will also be made available to purchase new and replacement capital equipment.

The Foundation is in the planning stages of this capital campaign, and appreciates the support it receives from all over the province; notably from the 25 communities in which the Centres are represented. Through province wide special events and many other fundraising initiatives the foundation will reach its goal with your support. Look for us in the coming year!
